Patricia began her dance training at Top Hat Dance Centre, and continued at Ballet Dallas and Festival Ballet of North Texas. She also trained with Finish Jhung, Margot Parsons, and master teachers in NYC and Boston. She has performed with Quintessence Ballet Company, Festival Ballet of North Texas, Gotta Dance Company, Audra Carabetta and Dancers, and Boston Liturgical Dance Ensemble. Patricia holds a B.A. from Boston College and an M.A. in Dance Education from Columbia University. Patricia has taught dance courses at Boston College, Regis College, Topf Center for Dance Education, Tufts University Children’s Theater, Columbia University, Gann Academy High School, public schools and private studios throughout Boston and New York City. Patricia has worked with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Ailey II, Paul Taylor Dance Company, and American Ballet Theater through City Center in New York City to develop and implement education outreach programs. She has enjoyed leading guest classes in Musical Theater Dance at Boston Ballet, Endicott College, and community theaters. Patricia choreographed for university theater productions at Boston College and Regis College as well as regional theatre companies, Wheelock Family Theatre and Stage 284. Favorite choreography credits include Pippin, Cabaret, Seussical, Candide, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Yellow Boat, Beauty and the Beast, Mary Poppins, and Pinocchio. She was the Director of the Performing Arts Program at the Jordan Boys & Girls Club where she directed, produced and choreographed over 30 productions. Patricia continued to share her love for theater and dance, founding North Shore Children’s Theatre in Salem, MA in 2010 and served as Executive and Artistic Director of the non-profit theater performance company, having produced, choreographed and costumed over 40 theatrical productions. She recently choreographed for musical theater and plays at Wheelock Family Theatre in Boston, earning an IRNE nomination for her choreography for Shrek! The Musical. She is happy to be dancing and teaching again in her home state of Texas at THDCI.
