Seana Gray Mota
Seana began her dance training at the age of four at Top Hat Dance Centre. She danced for eleven years with THDCI, where she was a member of the StarDancers company, and later moved on to the “Gotta Dance!” company. Seana has performed in industrial shows throughout the Metroplex, including Smirnoff’s “007” promotion, Huntington-Sanders Homes, and Stein Mart shows. In high school, she focused on vocal training with a private vocal coach and with the Marcus H.S. “Singsations” show choir, and performing in musicals such as “Crazy for You”, “Funny Girl”, “Grease”, and “42nd Street”. She performed in Six Flags Over Texas theme park shows “Brutal Planet”, “Beguiled Illusions”, “Looney Tunes Christmas”, “The Magic Show”, and a front gate show. Seana returned to THDCI in the fall of 2001 to assistant teach all levels of tap, ballet, and jazz, as well as assist various dance companies. She is currently teaching beginning and intermediate levels of dance in all ages, and choreographing for dance companies at Top Hat Dance Centre. Seana also has her certification in TurboKick and Piyo (Pilates & Yoga) training.
Seana was married in 2004 to Mark Mota, who has served several tours of duty in the Middle East. She has two children, Sofia and Giovanni. Sofia is dancing at Top Hat.
